I just recently bought a sponge. I used it dry, I never knew you had to dip it in water first then apply your foundation with it being damp! Does that work better? What's your overall opinion on these things?

I love my beauty blender sponge. But yes like Gen said, you soak it in water then squeeze the excess out. I see a big difference when I use it compared to using a regular brush for foundation.

Yes use it moist and it will give you such a great canvas!
