I am an MUA and I do ok considering school takes up most of my time. I have business cards that I pass out when I can, but would like to start a website. I would like to be able to have an online portfolio for people who receive my business card can see my work as well as post tutorials and reviews. I have NO idea how to start a website. I know some people start a facebook page for such things, but I would really prefer not to do that yet. Does anyone know how to start a website?

You can go to "go daddy" and they have a step by step guide. This a great way to also make sure the domain name you want is available. You will want to be sure you get a.com or.net. Go daddy offers deals and price ranges that can be affordable.

Also, check out sites like wix.com or weebly.com to create the website. I personally use weebly, and purchased a domain name on godaddy.com. Feel free to check it out- www.tararoseabrahams.com I'm in the middle of updating it right now, but still something to look at. =)
