yeah it's horrible. not one person that I have seen use it has had any results, and its like 50 bucks. Dermalogica is a GREAT skin product and I saw incredible results.

proactive works great for my skin. within the first few days of using it has changed my skin drastically. to be fair, everyone has different skin types and different skin reactions so it really depends.

proactive is designed for teenage skin. and most of it contains salicylic acid which in most cases leaves skin feeling tight, red and irritated. I use dermologica and they sale different kits for different skin types at ulta and they use do facials there for you to try it. reasonably priced and most of their smaller bottles last me months.

personally, benzoyl peroxide products work the best for me. be prepared to moisturize a little more though as it can be drying at first

Use an egg mask it's cheap and it gets rid of nasty pimples and such just seporate the egg into whites and yoke. Beat both in bowls, put the whites on your face and let it sit for 10mins. Repeat with yoke :) the all you have to do Is go to bed and the next morning your face should start looking clearer:)

Try Philosophy's acne line called Clear Days Ahead. They have a cleanser, a moisturizer/treatment lotion (which is my favorite from the whole line), a spot treatment and a few other things. The cleanser is pretty gentle but if your skin gets dry I'd suggest using their Purity cleanser instead. I've found that cleanser isn't in contact with the face enough to really have much of an effect, so I just get the spot treatment and the moisturizer now. I love the Purity cleanser because its very gentle and doesn't irritate any breakouts I have at the time.

I use the Neutrogena skin polishing acne cleanser. It's similar to Proactiv's cleanser but it doesn't irritate my skin. The results are amazing!

Of course it depends on your skin, but Enza Essentials products have products for different skin types and it worked WONDERS for me! Hope it works for you too!

Proactiv burned my skin, and if I quit using it my whole face broke out. :( now I rely on cetaphil (:
