Take your make up off thoroughly and pre cleanse with coconut oil then cleanse with a cleanser with a pH of 4.5-5.5. It may sound very silly to put oil on oil but it cancels each other out and you end up with healthy skin. Think about it this way; oil and water don't mix so why use a water based product?
The oil pre cleanse will remove all of the dirt and oil etc.. And the second cleanse will allow you to get deep into your pores.
Just rub the oil on your face for a minute, then wipe off with a CLEAN cloth/cotton, cleanse normally and seal in the moisture with your face moisturiser. Your face is not meant to feel tight and squeaky clean cause that just means you've striped you acid mantle (which you need in order to have clear and balanced skin)
