What is the point of Tightlining?

Isnt it just putting eyeliner on your upper waterline. does it make a difference in your makeup look? does anyone else do this? any tips? thanks.

It is filling between your eyelashes, not your waterline, and it makes your eyelashes look thicker in a more natural way.

For me tight lining helps open and brighten my eyes. I have hooded eyes so if I put eyeliner on my lid it kinda takes over my eye and that's all you see.

It will make your eyes pop and make your lashes look thicker! :)
