When People Judge!?

A young person giving me advice on skin care or some certain types of makeup is in no way beneficial to me. Yes, you might have put on eyeshadow in your life before but you have no idea what it is like to have matured skin or anything of the sort. Therefore, your advice on how a certain type of makeup looks on young skin will be completely different than if someone close to my age would give me advice. Don't get me wrong, I respect all of the younger girls opinion, however, it was a simple statement saying that sometimes age does matter.

And whether you are a minor or not DOES determine how educated you are. You guys have NOOOOO idea what the real world is like, or what it is like to support a family and pay ALL the bills. Education isn't just about school or a "signed piece of paper" education has to do with what you have been through, how you react to certain things and so on. You get more educated by having a career, and by learning from those around you. Not just school.

Oh my goodness, Kenzie. Are you really bringing all that into play right now. We are talking about makeup, not legalities. When I said about how being a minor doesn't determine your education status, I meant that about makeup and hair and beauty. And like I said before, there have been plenty of times where grown women, middle aged, have asked MINORS for advice on MAKEUP. Obviously a random adult isn't going to ask me how to deposit a check into the bank, but they might ask what colors would look good on their skin tone. Just because we're young does NOT mean we don't know what we're talking about.

Kenzie G Right on (to your last statement). I find it annoying when people get elitist about higher education especially since I'm self employed as an consultant instructing businesses on how to properly run their businesses. Some of the greatest minds I've met haven't been those with "a piece of paper" (college degree) but those who really lived life and struggled to get where they are in life. You're 100% correct in saying that life is the best education and not just school. I'm finishing up my degree now and I think my career experience played a huge part in my academic success and not the other way around. Getting an education is great but I'm telling everyone that that silly piece of paper doesn't mean squat because I've hired people without college degrees who ended up being some of the best employees around and out performed college degree holders. Best education comes from life experience.

And we need to stop making a stink about the young girls being on here because we were once young ourselves and to segregate a population of people because of age is just wrong. :(
