I just posted this in another thread...
The best moisturizer I've found that clears up dry patches overnight is mary kay oil free hydrating gel. it comes in a purple jar. I had a really bad dry spot on my chin from kissing my bf, his stubble really irritated me. nothing else really helped until I used some of a sample of this I had laying around. it was GONE the next day. it is not something I'd use on a daily basis on my entire face, because I don't need it. but for extremely dry skin I highly recommend it.
I've also been using a sample of mario badescu's bee pollen night cream and it is very thick and heavy. it can be very moisturizing.
for daytime I use cerave, which works better than my clinique (the yellow bottle). I noticed my skin was getting dry this winter (our weather has been crazy, literally 2 days between being freezing and being in the 60s) so I wanted to try something else. cerave works well for me.
oh, and the mario badescu hyaluronic eye cream is SUPER moisturizing for the eye area.

I don't use it personally because I have oily skin but my mother swears by Cliniques Moisture surge. Comes in a tub jar type container and is fragrance free.

Cerave! They have a wash and moisturizer. I suffer from combination skin and my dermatologist recommended Cerave and I've been hooked since. Get it at any drug store or Walmart. It's like $14 a bottle...well worth it.

I've been using Fresh Seaberry Facial Oil...it has saved my skin! I mix it with cerave during the day and at night with a little first aid beauty oil-free moisturizer (something not too thick).
