I've been growing out my hair for a while & I want it to reach the middle of my back. Should I cut into a bob & make my ends brown, cut it shoulder length and layer it or should I just layer my hair?

I would just layer your hair, because it could take a year to get it back to a longer length, and I have layers. The only problem is if you ever want to braid your hair, little pieces stick out. But other than that I like layers. It makes your hair lighter, considering I have thick hair.
