Definitely recommend buying good skin care. I think I got my whole set by philosophy for $68, plus a facial scrub brush (the cheap way to go until you can afford a Clarisonic) $5 then I would probably buy my favorite foundation - Laura Mercier Silk Creme foundation $45. Then after that I would get things like an eyeshadow palette, fun liners, look in the sale bins.
