I have horribly oily skin! Any advice of how to control it or what type of makeup I should use? Thanks!

A good way to control oil is look for oil free face wash. A lot of them tend to be more cream or gel based and are really good at getting rid of oil while cleaning your face and not letting it feel striped. As far as makeup keep it light and try and look for anything oil free. Cakey makeup will clog your pores and then cause more oil to want to come out. As oil blotting sheets work great for a quick trick. Hope this helps. =)

Wear makeup that says oil free. Use a cleanser that's clear and not creamy, because creamy cleansers will make you even more oily. Make sure you set your foundation with a transient powder. All your skin care products and foundations should all be oil free, stay away from moisturizers that are very heavy and creamy as that will make you oily also :) oh and try investing in a clarisonic! Works wonders for your skin

Try using a gentle cleanser like Cetaphil or CeraVe. While harsher cleansers like Clean and Clear or the Neutrogena acne line are effective at getting rid of oil, they will strip your skin and cause it to overproduce oil as a result. I used to have oily skin and now that I use gentle cleansers, my skin has balanced itself over the past year or two. I can't even believe I used to use stuff like C&C Morning Burst that is all Sodium Laureth Sulfate... Basically harsh enough to be a body wash or shampoo -_-

I also have extremely oily skin. What I do is I use primer before foundation, set my makeup with a powder, if I have time, spritz setting spray, carry a blotting paper with me all the time..

You get oily skin when your body hasn't got as much as water as it needs , so then the skin goes dry and your body tries to fix that itself so it gets the oil out but always over does it , I had the same problem. I moisturised my skin , and drank 10 glasses of water a day , my skin got better in a week ;)
