Okay girls so on a budget and needed a eye makeup remover in a crunch. I go in Walgreens a see Wet n Wild eye makeup remover for two dollars. Me (can't beat that price). Ha you get what you pay for because this mess stings like hell. Come to find out there's a recall on this s@&t. I payed two dollars but it's going back tomorrow for a refund with a demand to take it off the shelf because of the recall. My are really still burning and I don't have sensitive eyes.

Wow. So glad I bought the Maybelline clean express makeup remover instead of this. That was a close call!

I had to put some clear eyes in them but they're okay now. I was blinking for a while though.

That is really disturbing and scary.
I'd be pitching a major b*tch (excuse my language) fit!

I would have been worried that I was going to go blind or something.
That'll probably keep me from buying anything of theirs for awhile.

It really sucks when you try to save a bit of money and it bites you in the butt. It really annoys me when that happens. :/
I've had that happen to me a couple times.
Once with a $1 pack of makeup remover wipes. My skin hated it and my skin started burning and my eyes got red and swollen. I learned to never go cheap on that stuff again. lol

Awww Ema...I hope your eyes are feeling better. That sucks you had to go thru all that and Walgreens should've pulled it because they receive that recall alerts. If they claim "clueless" they are bs because I know the mrg at my local store and I sat in her office one day and she had a bulletin board listing recall items from various manufactures (food and cosmetics). Obviously the store where you picked up this junk is just plain lazy because by federal law they are mandated to remove recalled items immediately. I would've nutted up in there if that happened to me and hubby probably be right behind me doing the same.

Man, I was using this stuff for around a month while I left my other one at a friend's house. But for real? It does not burn me personally, but a recall? I'll be throwing that away.

So here's what I found out ladies. There was a recall on this product back in 2009. When the product made it's return to the shelf the company changed the packaging.

Go figure they would change the packaging on the offending product. Talk about being shady.
