Curling hair w/out the snapper!?!

So my hair is really thick but sometimes I want to curl it without having to get on the shower! My profile picture has my curly hair (not natural) and I used my friends curler! So my question is is that where can I find a curler without the snapper thing on it?

You can get a wand. They sell them at Target. A really good one is Remmington Ceramic Pearl. Its like $25.
