Is the mia 2 worth the extra $30?

I think so. It comes with a warranty, timer, more than one speed, and a carrying case. Also when I bought mine from Ulta I received an extra brush head which is pretty expensive as well as a travel bag! Very worth it

If you have the extra $30, then yes. However I don't think the extra speed makes all that difference.
