I wash my hair everyday or the rare two days. I can't stand not washing my hair after the whole day especially if I went out. feels dirty to me and oil at the roots not that pleasant to me. I do use hair products to protect my hair so washing daily is okay for me.

I can get 3/4 days without a dry shampoo but manage to get a week before I have to wash it again. I pretty much love my hair.

My hair starts to get oily the very next day after I've washed. But it's not so bad to the point where I can't deal with it til the next day. So every other day for me. However, I wish it were longer!

I personally have dark hair, so many dry shampoos tend to look white and powdery, so look for a brand marketing purely to darker tones, that way you don't have to fuss with the patting or running in. I can personally go four days without washing my hair, because of this fabulous brand I have found.

Hair gets oily because the harsh chemical shampoo strips off the natural oil. To compensate the oil loss the glands secrete oil. Try using a mild shampoo, avoid over cinditioning instead go for a vinegat rinse after shampoo.. It will keep your hair shiny , soft and sweat odour free,...after shampoo add about 5 tbsp of vinegar in 200 ml of water and rinse hair. Dnt wash it off just let your hair dry naturally. B careful, dnt let vinegar get in your eyes!

When a majority of you guys mentioned about washing your hair every other day or 3 or 4 times a week, does that mean you don't wash your body too along with not washing your hair?

Everyday. It's so oily that I'm lucky if it last all 24 without clumping in oily looking strands.

Every 3 to 4 days. When I was younger and had thicker hair, I would wash once a week. A lot of my friends still wash their hair just once a week and it doesn't get oily at all.

I have to wash it everyday, I use a lot of product and I touch it all the time so it looks greasy by the end of the day.

I try to was every three days. But I wet it everyday and put an oil reducing serum in it (: I love White Sands product called Magical Serum. It keeps it hydrated but not oily so it stays soft!

As gross as people say it is, I wash my hair once a week, twice if necessary.
I have bleached, coloured and tortured my hair and it doesn't get very oily anymore so the natural oils are great when they're around...for the day
