My Eyelashes Wont Keep A Curl!

Hi

I have long eyelashes that point downwards - if i curl them and then apply mascara they just lose the curl straight away. Even if i use the curling mascaras they dont work on me.

Any tips or tricks would be very much appreciated! :-)

Have you tried a heated eyelash curler? and if applying mascara is straightening them, try applying it before you curl.

Yeah I would put heat on the eye lash curler if you don't want to invest in a heated one you can use a blow dryer and hold it on the curler for a little while and that heats it!

I had a heated eyelash curler that was like a wand but found it hard 2 use 4 some reason :-) will definitely try the hairdrier trick tho n c if that makes a difference! Do u know of any really good curling mascaras at all?

You could try supercilious curling mascara by urban decay! I've actually never used it but I head it works good! http://m.urbandecay.com/supercurl-curling-mascara/280,default,pd.html otherwise my mascara is pretty shitty so I'm not sure! :)

Ooh thanks 4 this Rene! I will have a look at it. Just tried heating my eyelash curlers up with the hairdrier n has worked a treat! :-) still not keeping as much of a curl as i would like after applying mascara but maybe if i do this and then put on the curling mascara we may have sorted the problem!! :-) thanks every1 4 the advice xx
