I used o hate having brown eyes but now I love it after realizing I can use literally like any color eyeshadow. Gold, bonze, purple, green, topes, light pink, white, silver. Literally all colors work well!

Any colour, if you think of the colour wheel, brown is basically all those colours mixed. Any colour will enhance them. I personally like the look of greens and purples.

I really like a good gold next to brown eyes, purple and greens look very pretty. Those are my personal favorites. But technically any color is great for brown eyes.
