its like Walmart or Walgreens or CVS. its where specifically makeup is cheaper compared to high end makeup like Mac

A drugstore is a kind of department store that's essentially an oversized convenience/general store. They're called "drugstores" because they have pharmacies attached to them so that's where most people get their prescription drugs from.
Lower-end beauty brands are readily available there, so the term "drugstore brand" came to being!
