It's so iconic I can't believe there isn't any makeup collections dedicated to it,the sephora disney princess collection and UD oz palettes got me to thinking why not gone with the wind

I think it hasn't been done as a collection due to racial undertones of the film. Its secondary to the storyline but its not absence either. It has been criticized for its portrayal of African Americans and it perpetuated various myths about Reconstruction. I think if any cosmetic line came out with an inspired collection based off this movie they will have every racial equality group known to man screaming "racists". Personally I take no offense but there will be plenty of people that will. I would have say maybe "Breakfast at Tiffany's" with Hepburn. Talk about iconic film....I watch it first and foremost for the beautiful clothes.

That could very well be true Shelley but they did come out with a Barbie collection based on the film, but even with the negative aspects there are so many fans it would still sell very well and there are going to be critics no matter what but thanks for sharing your opinion and I agree with you about breakfast at Tiffany's I love it as well

I remember that one. Folks back home complained about it at an area Toys R Us and they pulled the collection from the shelves. Which made it even more valuable. Now I'm tempted to watch my dvd of Tiffany's.....all this talk of classic movies. :)
