I have very thick and curly hair but I have troubles styling it and being happy with the way it looks. Any products or tips to help me style my hair?

What products have you tried? I really can't see the curl pattern of your hair since you have it pulled back in your pic but I suggest checking out the Devacurl line that you can find at ULTA. Its made just for us curly girls. My best advice that I have to share, and something that I learned, is that maintaining our curly hair is an adventure and what might work for one might not work for another due to curl density/pattern and porosity. Its going to be a time of great experimentation. Naturallycurly.com is where I learned about hair types (curl patterns). This is an awesome resource. Skys the limit when it comes to hair styles....messy top bun, sock bun, fishtail braids (yes us curly girls can work a fishtail), parted down the middle or the side with a nice amount of volume looks beautiful. The styles are endless in my opinion. Some other product lines worth investigating...Kinky Curly, Bumble & Bumble, and Quidad.
