Its easy to simply say that we all wear makeup because that is just what women do, but to be on such a wonderful site as Beautylish, I know at least for myself, that makeup is so much more than simply being superficial. It is very true that I feel more confident in makeup or anything I do to appear "pretty", but makeup is an art. It is a way to show your true colors. there are no boundaries and its amazing! So I simply am starting this conversation to hear why you love makeup so much :)

I remember watching my mother applying her makeup when I was very young, just seeing her happy putting lipstick on or mascara was uplifting. I didnt start wearing makeup until I had the guts to, but I've always wanted to have the same experience my mom does whenever she used makeup. As I got older I started experimenting, I decided to wear makeup for myself. it does bring out the confidence in me. Makeup has been my weapon against timidity, it has helped me break out of the shell I hid within. ^_^
