Hair Not Staying Straight After Straightening It

I have a hard time having my hair stay straight when straightening it. what can I do to keep in straight?

Ive had that same issue before and to find out it was tge straightener I was using. Use a heat protectant and use a tourmaline ceramic straightener they get your hair super straight and actually stays straight for a while and the heat protectant kinda locks it in :) hope this helps
