What is Witch Hazel All About?

I've been hearing about witch hazel a lot lately but I have no idea what it can be used for.

It can be used in place of a acne astringent. You soak a cotton ball with witch hazel and rub a thin layer across your face. It is supposed to cleanse while locking in moisture. It's also natural. I've been using it for about 6 months and my skin has changed. It's really good for oily skin also.

Oh yeah it has a odd smell that will take some getting used to. It doesn't bother me because I rather put a natural smelly product than a irritating chemical on my face.

there's a natural brand called boscia that has witch hazel, and it's phenomenal for break out prone skin. you can get it at sephora.
