When i put my foundation on it leaves my face looking very oily, so i put a powdered foundation. The one i use almost makes my face look dry and chapped. What brands/ types of liquid and powder do you suggest?

You can always do a cream-to-powder foundation. Personally, I like gel based items because they tend to strike a balance between being too waxy/oily and being too watery/light. My skin gets super dry in the winter and I live in a really humid area which is hell in the summer. It's just a mess and gels work best IMO. I hear good things about mac studio sculpt. It's on my buy list at some point....
