Is waterproof mascara bad for your eyelashes?

I've heard that's its bad for your eyelashes ....... Is that true ?

Id say yes. It's hard to remove even with makeup removers wipes. You have to tug at them to get the mascara off and when I do that most of the time it pulls them out sooo, I say no.

Haha I hope its not i use i have it 24/7 :D but I think it should be okay, as long as you take it off every evening, cuz wearing it too much (during night time) might get you an infection :o so yeah jutra take it off regularly and you're good Haha (:

It isn't, you just have to be careful when you remove it, use something oil-based.
And to treat your lashes, just apply some vaseline on your lashes before you go to sleep, in the morning your lashes will be so soft. (tip: use an old curling wand to apply the vaseline)

if you use an oil based eye makeup remover gently on a cotton pad and leave it for a few seconds, then kinda rub the lashes gently it shouldn't be a biggie...or if you use a cleansing oil gently as well it should work!

I would have to say (to answer your original question) that if you remove the stuff properly and not pulling it off your lashes, waterproof mascara isn't that bad actually...I use it pretty regularly and I don't have problems with lash lost or brittle lashes :) Hope that helps!!

That's guys :) hah . I use waterproof mascara pretty much all the time I heard it was bad so I wanted to stop if it really was bad. I do take it off every night though the way you guys say I should . So thanks lol

I think it is bad because it is hard to take off and when you want to you sometimes pull to much but I'd you are going swimming or going to a sad event go for it

Use baby oil , gets any water proof mascara right off . Then some soap to wipe everything else up . I use it daily (:

If you take it off after a hot shower with an oils based remover it's soo much easier.
