I wanted to get some tips on how to make birthmarks less visible (if possible). I have a birthmark on my left cheek of my face, kind of looks like a "black eye" as if I got hit. Some days it is less noticeable and sometimes its very prominent. (depending on the weather) I have learned to live with it and adjust my face with make up the best I could. I already use foundation.powder, concealer. but wanted to get maybe some SPECIAL tips/tricks I can try and might not know about. (like how to minimize any blue or purple pigmentation due to the birthmark) Thank you!

There is also kat von d 's tattoo makeup that's great. Or you can get a colour wheel for the opposite of blue and purples and these colours can go over or under the foundation as long as you blend they use this technique for dark circles.
Hope this helps

Dermablend, set with mac mineralized skin finish natural, my sister has a similar looking birthmark under her eye that is much darker (we're African American) and it covers it flawlessly, and u get a ton of product in one $34 jar, will last u a while. It's also water and transfer proof. This is my go to foundation for myself and client as well.

Thank you girls, for all the tips. I had once used Dermablend at a younger age. (13-14, when I was more self conscious of the birthmark) and felt it went on too cakey on my and nothing natural. Then again I probably didnt even know how to apply foundation correctly back then, lol. So I will definitely give it a second shot, now that its been recommended to me more than once. I will also keep the other options/advice into consideration just in case Thank YOU Thank YOU! for responding to my post.
