i normally mix together babyshampoo with some dish soap and a couple drops of olive oil in a bowl, then i dip my brushes in the mix and wet the hair with cold water, i make sure to hold the brush facing down so the water doesnt ruin my brushes.. i begin to rub the hair against my palm and rinse them after, i then get a towl and rub the brushes gently agaisnt the towl, after they're damp i lay them down and let them dry over night.. and i wake up to clean, soft brushes! how do you clean your brushes? is there anything i should try or do different? i'd love to hear what you have to say :)

We just added Parian Spirit brush cleaner to our boutiques and it's awesome!!! We clean so many brushes here at Beautylish and it really does a great job. The Parians (the people who made it) came over and gave us a great demo on different ways to clean brushes. We'll be posting an article about this very topic in the next few days, so check back. I used to use soap and water (like you do) but it takes so long for that to dry that I found I wasn't doing it as frequently as I should. The brush cleaner dries almost instantly though so it's really easy to use, even in the middle of doing your makeup. Plus it's natural, so there's nothing harsh or dangerous about it. Check it out: http://www.beautylish.com/b/parian-spirit. More details about how it works and how to use it coming very soon!

I use baby shampoo to wash them and I make sure to rinse them thouroughly. then I peg them onto an underwear hanger upside down to dry them as I was told you shouldnt leave them flat as the water can ruin the brush handle if left sitting on it side wen wet (presume would be caused by laying them flat when wet a lot)
