An eyelash primer will help build your mascara and give it more length and volume than just a mascara alone.

there are lash primers and bases, such as a really really awesome one from Lancome that you apply before mascara. It has made my lashes look way bigger and better than regular mascara alone and even makes wimpy mascara perform fantastically. I cannot live without it now.

Baby powder between coats of mascara but if you're a bit nervous about that you could try putting a coat of liquid liner on your lashes before your mascara. They'll look so dark and thick
