Normally when I'm sitting around the house bored I pull my makeup out & play with it. I'll be in the house not even dressed with a full face of makeup on.

Since I have to be a little conservative at work I'll try to improve on crazier stuff on Saturdays, when I dink around downtown or Sundays, when I go to church or shop or whatever. During the week I'll work on tamer stuff like blending, eyeliner, brows, and contouring.

Like Elisa, work doesn't afford me much room for experimentation with my makeup; I'm an ICU nurse and am frequently running, doing CPR, and just basically working my butt off. But in my downtime in the middle of the night at home (I work nights) I find myself playing around with my makeup because there's not much else to do at 3 in the morning. And since I'm so limited at work due to scrubs and little makeup, I tend to go a little crazy when I go out for anything at all when I'm off. My boyfriend laughs because I'll spend an hour perfecting my eye makeup just to go sit in a dark movie theater for 2 hours! But you have to find a fun way to express yourself.
