I dont have large pores but whenever I apply foundation after few seconds my pores look so large
whyy please help!

if I try to hide it with primer my skin looks flaky

A primer shouldn't make you look flaky. If you aren't exfoliating you should be at least once a week. Make sure you are washing your face and then using moisturizer before any makeup application. A primer should be evening out your skin texture, not making it look worse, maybe try a different one? They really do help keep foundation from sinking into your pores.

Certain of even my favorite foundations do this to me too = \ What I normally do is press a loose powder into those areas, and it will usually go away unless I get really oily. Clinique makes a product called "Instant Perfector" which is a cream/balm that you can dab over those area's before, or after foundation, and it will hide them.

It's how you apply it that causes that. Use a stipple brush and that should go away.
