I recently just dyed my hair red. But it fades off every time I wash it. Any ideas on how to make the colour stay longer? Besides not washing it :p

I found out I can't keep red in my hair :(. It fades super quick to and ugly brownish color... My hair dresser told me it was bc they had to quit putting something in the dye that helps it hold the color bc it wasn't approved by some regulations. But I'm not sure how true that is.

Red hair dye will always fade quicker no matter what, all you can do is deep condition regularly and use colour protecting products

Use Colour protecting shampoos and conditioners :)
