Where to apply blusher?

Hi.
I used to apply my bronzer on the apples of my cheeks but recently it looks a bit odd.
Where is the best place to apply bronzer and where's the best place for blusher?

I make a fish face and apply it to the hollow underneath my cheek bone. then apply some blush either on the Apple of my cheeks or a little further back.. depending on the look I'm going for :-)
