I have a gig with a friend who is a film major. They need someone to just get rid of the shine for their short film. Nothing extravaggant. I was looking into MAC's prep+prime transparent finishing powder/ pressed. Do you think that would suffice? What other powders do you suggest?

Nuetragena shine control it's easy to carry around because its so compact and does the job of keeping your face matte!

I would suggest blotting paper over repeated applications of powder, OR blotting your face with tissue paper or blotting tissues you can buy at CVS before you apply anymore powder because it ends up looking extremely caked on and not attractive. As for powder to apply after you blot, I would definitely go for something pressed since it's easier to carry around than jarred ones, I like Revlon's Photofinish Translucent, it keeps me matte when I'm on the go.

I also use blotting papers or mineral veil from bare minerals.
