My eyebrows are dark but very thin... they look shapeless and horrible no matter what... any tips... I tried filling them in but they look silly with my hair being light?

I think darker eyebrows with light hair looks good. Dont ever lighten your eyebrows. That looks ridicules. You can use a lighter shade eyebrow pencil to fill them in. That should do the trick.

I definitely agree...never, EVER, lighten your brows. I actually apply my foundation over my brows and brush them out with a brow brush to lighten them up a few shades because I have bleach blonde hair and suuuuper dark brows. Eyebrow pencils don't seem to work for me. Experiment with lighter eyeshadows, pencils, and foundations/concealers.

same problem. actually not even a problem i may say u can lighten yiur eyebrow depending on your eyes'color. if u have them dark as mine don't color ur brow. but if u have them blue or green than u can allow a fair eyebrow color

see I have fair skin nd blue eyes... my eyebrows look too thin without pencil, but ridiculous with I cant find the right shade... also they are shapeless! So annoying

You can also go to sephora and theu can show you how to properly apply eyebrow pencil. Also you can possibly go to a salon and have your brows shaped. Or maybe- get some color in your hair. Something different that would compliment your brows.

Seriously.. To the others who say u "can" lighten your brows. Oh God please dont. Ive been doing hair for 25+ yrs and its actually against the law to apply color to the brow. Its too close to the eye. Im not kidding. Then go to Ulta. Go to a salon who has a makeup artist on sight who can guide you as to what to do. Keep the color on the head- not the face.
