Options are needed. Is the urban decay naked basics palette worth the hype? Is it worth buying? Are matte shadows easier to to work with? I feel like a disco ball wearing shimmer shades to work! HELP! ;-)

Matte colors are easier to work with. The naked basics palette is a pretty good palette as well but you could probably find a cheaper option.

It's not worth it, if you have naked one or naked 2, what's the point of having a palette that's just repeated colors?
As for matte shadows, they are much more difficult to work with because they take a while to properly blend because if it isn't done right it will end up looking like a muddy mess. :/

I bought it bc I was tired of the glitter shadows for work too. I like it a lot. It's a nice palette bc normally I can't wear makeup to work without looking like a hot mess at the end of the day with no time to fix it up. I think it's pretty and much more professional.

I bought it, tho I probably didn't need it...it's nice to have some extra matte UD shadows but there are repeats...almost all of the colors have a dupe from the other Naked palettes. If you're in need of some matte shades, I'd say get it...
