Where do you live that it is so expensive ?? The closest one to me is about 6 hours and it is very reasonable to ship. I am actually placing an order soon as I am moving into a new place. I am in Canada.

Omg! That is so expensive!! When I lived in Toronto and lived an hour away away they delivered for $60. That's crazy! My grandma ordered two nightstands a few years ago when the closest was about 9 hours away and the shipping was only about 35 or so.

My closest ikea is about 45 minutes away also, I tend to make it a field trip for myself lol. I thought i'd share my storage since I am so happy with it and is affordable. I orignally with for the Malm ($150), but they were out of stock had to improvise.
Micke Desk $49 (color options): http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/30213076/
Micke Draw Unit $59 (same color options): http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/50213080/
I ended up saving money and getting more space to store my makeup, I have the same hard to reach the back of the drawer problem, but I'm sure that will happen with all drawers. I do wish it had a glass top but it was easy to put together and I use the large bottom drawer for my hair tools and products =)

I'll be getting a Malm dressing table soon, can anyone describe or even give measurements of the size inside the drawer? I'm hoping it's big enough for my stuff :)

I'm from england and ikea is one of if not the best place for well built decent priced furniture. My nearest ikea is 45 minutes away which is definitely not a problem. I made the trip a couple of weeks ago for the Malm chest of 6 draws, £95 which is an absolute bargain. The draws are huge! I did loads of research and the malm chest was the only one with big enough measurements for what I need to put on top of it. I know what I'm talking about isnt really makeup storage but id honestly make the trip just to see what they have, if you dont find the perfect dresser chances are youll see something else you want anyway.
