Hey guys, I have this weird small dry patch on my chin, you can tell it is a bit flakey and also has tiny red bumps within it. I don't know what it is, I mean it doesn't itch or anything. I have tried moisturizing that area and I have also used scrubs but it doesn't seem to go away. I don't know what it coild be, maybe a fungal? I'm not too sure, any ideas? thanks everyone.

do u normally struggle with dry skin? I've had patches before because of the cold weather and moisturizers didn't seem to take care of it.

Making out always gives me a dry chin. Especially if its with a guy who has a little stubble or a beard. Facial hair can rub your skin raw and irritate it. Also, beards can carry alot of bacteria in them and cause you to break out. Dry skin around your nostrils is normal, just moisturize--speciallly after a shower.

I'm an esthetician...Also you may need to see a dermatologist especially if it suddenly appeared, they can diagnose you to let you know what it is so they can treat it accordingly.defitnely do not use scrubs it may spread it or may make it worse!

I have that happen a lot when the cold weather comes. I also have eczema so a little cortisone always works for me. But sometimes the cream can be oily on my skin too

It usually happens around winter. I have had two on my arm and I used to put petroleum jelly and lotion and they went away in a month or two.

I have them sometimes too but I'm VERY sensitive to chlorine sooo...
But you may have a form of ring worm. Not a really big deal but the doctor will give you cream for it!
