I use to stick exclusively with MAC but have since branched out. The thing for me with MAC brushes is that when they're good, they're phenomenal. And when they're bad, they're terrible. It's very hit-or-miss for me. But I find the Sigma brushes are consistently well-made, tolerate frequent cleaning (I'm a brush cleaning Nazi), and are incredibly cheap considering the quality you get. I also use some of the Real Techniques brushes, and a few random Sonia Kashuk and Coastal Scents brushes.

I have Real Techniques set which I love (minus few brushes that are complete miss so they just look pretty on the display), few brushes by EcoTools, Royal & Langnickel (their Silk Pro line) and Etude House. I was looking for cruelty free brushes and I am very happy with their performance.
