Help!! Spider Lashes!!!!

Ok a lot of times when I put on mascara I end up with spider lashes. I hate the way they look!! Is there a way to prevent them, and a way to fix them once I got them?

I use maybelline mascara if that helps...

im not sure how to prevent it but i just keep my eyes open and do a couple coats evenly

if ur gonna over coat there gonna turn into spider lashes haha
but you gotta
use 2 coats
and apply evenly :D
