I'm taking a course in manual therapy so everyday for the last month my classmates, out of necessity, have been touching my face. I've noticed that my face is starting to break out from the lotions and hand sanitizers on my classmates' hands . Is there anything I can do to protect my skin? would a primer help build a barrier between my skin and the bacteria on their hands?

I've also got dry skin, so I'm trying not to wash it too much, but it looks like o might have to

If they've sanitized their hands it shouldn't be a problem....Maybe ask all of them to sanitize their hands before hand just to make sure. Just explain that you're having breakout issues. And then maybe carry around makeup wipes or astringent to remove any bacteria afterwards, as well as a moisturizer so your face doesn't get dry. Or if you just want to wash your face just add a moisturizer so your skin doesn't get overdry.

Even if their hands are sanitized, hands produce natural oils. I would suggest pitting a layer of lotion and primer to ur face so it can sort of act as a barrier from getting into ur pores
