Putting powder foundation in your nail polish?

I picked up this little tidbit in a magazine that powder can be mixed into polish to create a custom nude. Has anyone actually tried this?

I'd rather buy a nude polish too, but I have a really hard time finding one that matches my skin tone very closely. There are nice ones that are flattering, but my object is to get it to blend completely.

It's true. Actually, you could do this with any powder of any colour -eyeshadow pigments, for example- just mix it with some clear nail polish and you're done! You can mix the powders as well, so you can creat your own customized shade. Just be sure to use a clear nail polish that's not too thick.
