So I emailed Tarte and I got a vague reply. I specifically asked if products were manufactured in China where animal testing is required by law, but they just replied that they had no plans to SELL in China. They stated that they do no test on animals and don't affiliate with companies that to so. They stated that they do have vegan options listed on the website but I couldn't find it so I searched the keyword "vegan" on their website and one of their products "Amazonian clay matte waterproof mineral powder bronzer" came up as a result for search. So I clicked on "ingredients" and it states made in China. I don't know if they mean the make-up was manufactured in China, or the compact it comes in is manufactured in China?
