I know I preach this all over this site, but use Milk of Magnesia (yes, the laxative) on your face. Allow it to dry before you prime. After that you can use whatever foundation you want. I promise you it will work. I personally use Phillips Original. It's about $3 at Target. Now it won't keep you oil free ALL day, but it comes quite close.

Address the cause, not the symptom. You need to get your skin under control first. Try not wearing any makeup at all for a month or so and see if perhaps it's a product that you're using that's actually CAUSING you to be more oily than you naturally are. Add products one by one so that you can identify and eliminate. You may have to switch products, and keep in mind that it takes probably a good month for the effect of something to become noticeable. If something breaks you out or makes you oily, it may not be obvious until you've been using it for 3 or 4 weeks. Sometimes it works the other way around and your skin freaks out with a new product, but settles down a few weeks later.

Just because you have oily skin does NOT mean you don't need to moisturize. There are oil controlling moisturizers (I know Cetaphil makes one, but you can look around). Make sure that you exfoliate, cleanse and use sunscreen.

After you've done all that, keep blotting papers around to dab off excess oil without moving your makeup before your makeup melts off.

I had the same problem but realized that i have to allow all the products i use to settle into my skin. Let your primer sit for like 2-3 minutes and so on. Also cary some blotting sheets. I purchased some from elf for 3bucks (3 in a pack)
