Too long to straighten?

Every time I straighten my hair, It takes me 1-2 hours. I hardly ever straighten my hair anymore because it just takes too long. And by the end of the day I have wavy hair.

I've tried two Remington flat irons, and the Instyler. I don't really want to buy another straightener, because I can't afford it.

My hair is very curly and past my shoulders. Is there anything I can do to make my hair straighten faster and stay straight for longer?

I also have wavy hair mine is really thick so it takes me a long time too I think it's to do with how you section it

Use any products (like heat protectants) before flat ironing it... msybe that will help.
