Okay,so I'm in desperate need for some red dye that actually works on my hair.
I'm black and white but seem to have hispanic hair. I've tried this boxed hair dye made for black women for streaks. But because my hair is so thick and there was so little of the dye,I had to use 5 boxes each time I've dyed it (dyed 3 times).
The dye stays in my hair for about 2-3 weeks and then fades to a ash brown color. After everytime I dye my hair, it smells horrible, like a dirty wet dog and feels coarse.
My hair is now so damaged from dying it and straightening it,I can brush my hair and a bunch of hair breaks and falls out.
I need something that will repair my hair and a hair dye that stays in for a decent amount of time.

I Had To Bleach, dye, use a protein filler, then dye again. I had the darkest black and thick hair, I used loreal hicolor hilights from sallys beauty supply in the color red hot.

L'oreal Hicolor for dark hair is pretty amazing and not too damaging. There are lots of before and after shots online.

I use and fell in love with "Manic Panic" the color that you see in the pic is called "Vampire Red". I absolutely suggest it! It has no harsh chemicals , and it even made my hair softer then from before I was dying it! And my i add I have thick Hispanic hair! My hair is extremely thick!!!!! The color last about 2-3 for me , and that's really good , considering I'm taking a shower every day due to sports . I hope this helps. I wish you the best of luck with dying ur hair !

I also ment to say that I did not bleach my hair b4 dying it red. I had naturally dark dark dark brown hair and with the second time I dyed it , it become that red you see in the picture.
