Studio Fix by Mac is great, but I stopped using it cause they test on animals. I like NARS Sheer Matte foundation which matches me perfectly and is vegan (though the parent company is not). I have combo skin (oily t-zone, normal cheeks) and I like that the NARS has buildable coverage and keeps my shine at bay. I like that it doesn't feel like you got make up on.

BB creams makes me break out. I have used at least 4 different kinds. My fav full coverage foundation us Revlon Photoready. If i want less coverage i like L'oreal True Match Lumi foundation. It goes on smooth and i have a dewy finish not greasy/oily feel

Since I discovered Lancôme teint idole ultra 24h I never looked back. It's light but covers well with 18 shades from very light to almost black. Check it out.

You should definately try Estee Lauder Double Wear, its around 49$ in Canada (should be less expensive in the USA), the range of colours is perfect, the final effect on your skin is awesome, it stays on forever (no need to fix it with a spray) its my holy grail product of all times! Worth a try!

Bobbi Brown Natural Finish Long Lasting Foundation &
Chanel Perfection Lumiere Long Wear Flawless Foundation.
These two are VERY expensive, but works perfectly for me. I have super oily skin and these stay on me for at least 8 hours! I highly recommended these.

I've tried the Kat Von D, and it just didn't work out for me, wanted to like it, but I couldn't. I really want to try UD Naked Skin foundation though.
And I've used Too Face Vanilla Creme powder foundation, which is perfect for a powder, but the liquid version still looks too dark!

If you are looking for medium coverage and looking for a natural look. I would Recommend make up forevers HD foundation. I like UD naked, but the colors can be tough to match. If u r looking for full coverage I use tartes clay based full coverage make up to my clients.
