Usually if you've never died your hair before whatever hair dye you get, will usually get your hair to that color..

But if it doesn't, you'll have to bleach it, if not, you can buy a hair stripping dye..it strips your hair of it's natural color. It's like bleaching, but less damaging. Or there's the sun spray. Your spray your hair everyday with this stuff & when you're in the sun it'll keep getting lighter, & you can start dyeing it & what not

dye is one thing and bleach is a whole different thing. Are you trying to go lighter or darker from your original color?

I use this shampoo to lighten my hair and so far it works very good , you should try it !! You can buy it in Walmart or target

There's a dye by garnier I think, that's called dark innovation. It's specially for dark hair and delivers a really prominent colour to your hair.

Yes you can dye your hair without bleach, like light brown for an example
