What's the best hair treatment for damaged hair and fuzzy hair??

My hair goes really curly when I wash it and when I go to brush it it goes super fuzzy and poofy so I straighten it but my hair always end s up really damaged and it looks horrible any hair product suggestions???

P.S I'm going into highschool and really need a remedy
