I read a lot of posts and it seems that quite a few ladies are all about the "natural" look. Question is what is natural anymore?? In my opinion natural is boring!!! My natural hair color with no bleach/dye is a mahogany golden color (weird) but i bleach till its white. Does this make me un-natural even though their are people who have natural white hair?? Or what about blond hair?? soooo many of you bleach to achieve this color but still call your selves natural?? why?? why can you be considered natural but not me?? we are both doing the same thing to achieve a color that can be naturally grown by others. I think once you alter anything from the bleaching of hair to putting on makeup to look even in skin tone your not natural anymore across the board.

What that being said....you look beautiful! I couldn't pull your look off but on you it looks "natural"....like this is who you're suppose to look like. I'm starting to incorporate bolder looks into my life ( bright neon lips, dark smoky eyes and contouring). I'm a 38 year old mom of three and I'm starting the get flak from the ultra conservative PTA mom's. I don't care a rats behind what they think about me. I'm enjoying the quest that I'm on. Seeing your beauty just reminded me that I'm A-ok. :)

I think of natural as being natural TO YOU. As in suiting your skin tone, your lifestyle, your personality.

I'm not sure why this seems to be a difficult concept to grasp (not you specifically - there have been a lot of conversations across this board). You're not going to catch me in a teased white-blonde bouffant with baby pink lips and a tan any more than you're going to catch me in cowboy boots and a ruffle skirt with some sort of little floral print on it. Some people think it's cute. Whatever. Not my style and DEFINITELY not my personality.

It's like every person who has a loud style is mortally offended by the idea that not everyone thinks it's sassy, daring, whatever. They then proceed to call everyone else boring and pretentious. Um...thanks a lot?

Get a grip people.
