hi! i'm south asian, so i have pretty dark tanned-like skin and brownish-pink lips. I find it really hard to find lipsticks/glosses/etc that suit my skin and lip colour. all i've found that works for me so far are berry lip colours and dark mauve colours. any suggestions or help on any products or colours you think will be good for me? I really will appreciate it. thanks! :)

I'm Afro-Caribbean/Latina and got stuck in the whole need to wear only berry colours, but I actually tried a light pink! I also like pinky browns, or a light brown browns as my version of the nude. You also use foundation on your lips to provide an even base. My top lip is brown and my bottom is pink so I do that when wearing lighter/nudish colours.

yeah I actually started wearing foundation on my top lip because lip colours would come out evenly. I actually already have a pink lipstick and two sample corally pinks but they look groce on my lips ://

I am a beautician of 8 years and worked with many make up brands but I have to say the best I have come across is ... SLEEK
It's cheap, pure pigments as is special designed for black skin, so the colours are bright and stay, the choice of lip sticks is amazing and check out there OH MY eye shadow pallets. These truly do come out the colour shown if u get me , I have attached link to site . Hope this helps

Try MAC lip erase in "dim". Its a Pro product so its best obtained via the MAC website.
