Quality over everything!!!!! I know everyone can not afford high pricey make up but ladies do not expect to look like Beyonce with that 7 dollar bottle of ------!! Do not get me wrong not all drugstore makeup is bad for your skin but why would you put a low grade quality product on your face My philosophy is simple...if you want healthy beautiful skin on the inside and out treat your skin right THIS IS YOUR FACE!!

I def. agree about good quality! I also feel like drugstore foundations are really stepping up their game! I think any foundation can look amazing if you know how to work with it!

So what are you supposed to do if that's all you can afford?

Apparently not look like Beyonce. I actually prefer a now discontinued drugstore foundation over all of my high end ones.

@tiffany I'll put it this way if wearing makeup is an essential part of your day and you use it on a regular basis budget yourself to get better products. Stop using sponges to apply makeup it soak up all the product making you waste more. So in the two - three bottles you ran through you could have gotten a quality brush that would last you about ten years with good care and a foundation that would last you two times longer. Another tip to really hold on to that $30 bottle of mac foundation is to buy a full covarge even if you dont need it. It will cause you to use a lot less. Trust me i know things can be tight but quality is always better than quantity.

don't get me wrong again I'll say...not all drug store products are bad! i love me some 99¢ nail polish...but you can defiantly see and feel the difference with a 99¢ and $11 bottle of polish.
